A UW Health doctor turns old crayons into new possibilities for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

Dr. Amber McKenna first got the idea in 2022 when she was in her first residency program at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport. There, she and her best friend would create fun-shaped crayons as an activity to do with her kids.
