📸 Weather Art Sparks Curiosity and Creativity at Jema! ☀️🌧️☁️❄️

Today our little learners explored different weather types through art! They painted sunny, cloudy, rainy, and snowy scenes, and had so much fun watching the blue paint drip like “real rain” using spray bottles 💧🎨. This playful activity helped them learn about weather while building creativity and fine motor skills in a joyful way 🌈🤍.

Yesterday we received at Mosaic Kids an inspiring training session from Coach Mike Child Provider Specialists and Dr. Rachel Cohen. ListenHear
We learned practical tools to recognize and strengthen each child’s unique abilities, helping us further enhance our daily work with families.
It was especially meaningful to see how small adjustments in approach can make a big difference in children’s growth and confidence.

☀️ Fine Motor Friday at Jema

Today our little learners strengthened their hands in so many fun ways:

✂️ Tearing paper
☀️ Threading yarn
🎨 Painting
🖐 Sensory play
🌸 Playdough creations

Before children begin writing, their hands must be strong and coordinated.

Activities like tearing paper and playing with playdough help children:

✔ Strengthen finger muscles
✔ Improve hand control
✔ Develop bilateral coordination
✔ Build the foundation for future writing skills

At JEMA, every activity has purpose. Even play is preparing them for success. 💛

✨ We are so excited to welcome Jennah David, MT-BC to the Jema Learning Connection family! 🎶

Jennah is a Board-Certified Music Therapist from Heart-to-Heart Music Therapy , and she will now be joining our Mosaic Kids educational program every Monday 💛

Our children will enjoy a beautiful time of singing, dancing, exploring instruments, expressing emotions, and learning through music.
Because at JEMA, learning happens through joy, movement, and connection.

✨ Jennah will also be offering Music Therapy sessions for families interested in receiving this service at our center.
