Are you just starting your skincare journey? Or maybe you want to start but hesitant because of the cost? Don’t know where to start?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this is for you! Start by investing in quality skincare✨

The best are SPF and retinol. They don’t even have to be the ones pictured in the post, although I do recommended medical grade
•
Make sure to use a broad-spectrum SPF (preferably a physical/mineral one in my opinion) every day. Yes, even on days it’s raining, or even if you don’t go outside, even if you’re not around windows! There is UV exposure around us at all times, and SPF is going to help prevent damage and
•
Retinol is going to help correct any damage that’s already occurred! It helps with fine lines & wrinkles, collagen & elastin, dark spots, textural issues, pore size, acne, etc. It literally helps with everything!

Your is the most important part of your skincare journey. You perform your skincare routine twice a day, everyday while you only see your esthetician once a month

Pre Treatment Do’s & Don’ts for Laser Hair Removal⚡️
•
✔️Contrary to popular belief, you DO want to come in clean shaven! This will make the laser hair removal treatment a lot more comfortable for you!

✔️If you’re getting laser hair removal done on your face, you should use gentle skin care a few nights leading up to your appointment

✔️You should take any prescribed antiviral medication prior to treatment if you have HSV-1/HSV-2

✔️You should ALWAYS ask your provider all the questions you have! No question is a stupid question🩷

This should have been included in the Do’s, but please be upfront and honest with your provider if you happen to do anything on the Don’ts list! I’d rather have to reschedule you than possibly burn you because I wasn’t informed of these ahead of time🩷
•
❌ No waxing, tweezing, or using hair removal creams at least 4 weeks prior to your treatment! In order for the treatment to be effective, the hair bulb needs to be intact because that’s the target for the laser. If the hair bulb is gone because you waxed or tweezed, then you won’t see any results

❌ Taking photosensitizing medication prior to your appointment can make you more susceptible to burns

❌ Tanning prior to your laser hair removal appointment can also make you more susceptible to burns
