POV: you stopped fearing eggs and your hormones, energy, and hair started thriving

Eggs are one of the most nutrient-dense foods you can eat:
– high-quality protein
– choline (brain + hormone health)
– healthy fats
– vitamins A, D, B12

And no… they’re not the villain they were made out to be.

Save this if you’re done fearing real food 🤍

Healthy hair starts long before your shampoo routine.

Hair is a non-essential tissue, which means your body will only support growth when your basic needs are consistently met.

Here’s what actually matters:

• Protein — Hair is made of keratin (a protein). Low intake can lead to slower growth and increased shedding.
• Iron — One of the most common deficiencies in women. Low levels are strongly linked to hair thinning and excessive loss.
• Healthy fats — Support scalp health, shine, and help regulate inflammation.
• Total calories — Chronic under-eating can push hair into a resting phase (aka more shedding, less growth).

This is why you can use the “best” products and still feel like your hair isn’t improving.

Because the foundation isn’t there.

Before adding another serum or supplement, ask:
Am I consistently nourishing my body enough to support growth?

Small, consistent changes in your nutrition will always outperform quick fixes.

Extreme diets don’t fail because you lack willpower.
They fail because they ignore moderation.
Sustainable always wins. 🥑

Crunchy Power Protein Bites

Sometimes the best snacks are just real ingredients mixed together. These little bites are packed with texture from toasted quinoa and puffed rice, healthy fats from almond butter, and fiber from seeds to keep you satisfied.

To make:
Toast quinoa in a dry pan until fragrant. In a bowl combine toasted quinoa, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds, and puffed rice. Warm almond butter slightly, mix everything together, roll into small balls, and refrigerate until firm.

Simple, crunchy, and perfect to keep in the fridge when you want something nourishing preworkout or for a sweet treat.

Save this for your next snack prep.

Food has always been more than just fuel.

It’s connection.
It’s laughter around a table.
It’s slow mornings and shared recipes.
It’s the conversations that happen when everyone finally sits down together.

In a world that often rushes meals or turns food into numbers and rules, it’s worth remembering that some of the healthiest moments happen in community.

Good food. Good people. Grateful for both.
