The PET/CT Training Institute brings together physicists, technologist, physicians, computer scientists and engineers in an effort to establish and validate clinical protocols using quantitative hybrid imaging technologies, such as PET/CT, PET/MRI and SPECT/CT.

Hybrid imaging modalities are considered hardware combinations of nuclear medicine and radiology imaging systems aiming at:

1.Better co-localization of functional/metabolic data in an anatomical framework.

2.Improved clinical workflow and logistics.

3.The use of either image information for improving the quality and accuracy of the conjoined imaging modality.

4. Offer up to date didactic educational courses online and worldwide.
