This week, we’re proud to celebrate Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and the vital role they play in delivering exceptional patient care. At IEMP, our Emergency Medicine Physicians collaborate daily with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, collectively known as Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Their advanced training, clinical expertise, and compassionate approach enable them to diagnose and treat patients, prescribe medications, and bridge critical gaps in access to care. By combining medical knowledge with a deep commitment to their patients, APPs strengthen the quality and responsiveness of healthcare in every community they serve.
