💖This October, for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to shine a light on the journeys that inspire us. We want to introduce you to one of our team members Leslie who has personally walked through the challenges of breast cancer.

In 2013, she was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. Her treatment was eight rounds of chemotherapy, a lumpectomy, and 33 rounds of radiation.

Chemotherapy was the hardest part, both physically and emotionally, and there were many days she felt like she couldn't keep going.
What got her through was learning to take it one day at a time. Some days were dark and overwhelming, but the next day often brought a little more light, a little more strength. Healing isn't about being strong every single moment, it's about giving yourself permission to simply make it through today, knowing tomorrow may be better.

If you're facing this battle, remember: you don't have to carry it all at once. Just focus on the day in front of you. One day at a time, you'll get through it-and you may even find a deeper strength within yourself 💪🏽💗
