🌟 NASA Welcomes Dr. Matthew Levitsky!

We’re excited to welcome orthopedic surgeon Dr. Matthew Levitsky to our team at NASA! Dr. Levitsky graduated Magna Cum Laude from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York and from with honors from Tufts University School of Medicine! He specializes in direct anterior hip replacement and total knee reconstruction, and he brings extensive training from Columbia University/New York-Presbyterian. He is also certified in advanced technologies including MAKO and ROSA robotic-assisted joint replacement. He also serves as an Associate Team Physician for the Florida Everblades! We’re thrilled to have him caring for our Southwest Florida community! 👏

Attending American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons is important measure of what is changing in the field. A focused time to examine and discuss new or modified instruments, technologies, outcome based studies and current research. It also gives opportunity to catch up with collegues from near and far! I am so fortunate to meet such interesting people! This gentleman brought “A Treatise on Operative Surgery” by Joseph Pancoast feom 1846!
I have the added pleasure of helping such people improve their quality of life! He is doing very well after his knee replacement a few months ago!

This patient had limited range of motion of 90° or less and was unable to ride her bicycle and do some things that she enjoyed. She was referred to me by a colleague, and I was able to perform knee revision surgery. This is her two months postoperative with excellent range of motion, and she is able to once again ride her bike and do the things she enjoys!
