This Up Dog + neck rotation flow is one of my favorite ways to release the hip flexors — especially the psoas.

Press firmly into the ground with your hands, engage your glutes and back, then let your breath guide your rotation.
Inhale to prepare, exhale as you rotate fully through the neck. Reset to neutral between each side so your alignment stays true.

Gentle, intentional movement like this helps restore mobility, posture, and nervous system balance.

The shoes you wear every day directly impact your gait, posture, and long-term comfort.
When footwear limits toe spread, stiffens the sole, or forces you to grip to keep it on, it changes how you walk — and that stress can travel up the body.

That’s why I look for:
• A flexible sole
• A wide toe box
• A zero-drop heel
• Support when needed, without restricting movement

And yes — flip-flops aren’t inherently bad, but quality matters, especially here in Southwest Florida where we live in sandals.

3 tips to make your hip hinges actually work 👇

1️⃣ Set your feet for your hips → better alignment, stronger glute contraction
2️⃣ Load the glutes first → don’t rush the stand-up, let the glutes initiate (your low back will thank you)
3️⃣ Brace your core → inhale as you hinge, expand the belly; exhale for 5 as you come up while keeping that brace

A gentle reminder of how powerful CranioSacral Therapy can be for children—especially neurodivergent kids.

After an exciting holiday stretch, one of my regular little clients came in feeling overstimulated and dysregulated. Within moments of being on the table, his nervous system softened… and he fell asleep.
