This week in Art Class, our residents rolled up their sleeves and got wonderfully messy creating pour-paint Christmas ornaments! Using acrylic paint and a whole lot of creativity, they crafted gorgeous, one-of-a-kind ornaments—each one as unique as the artist who made it. We loved the finished pieces so much that we decorated a cheerful little Christmas tree for the lounge entirely with our residents’ artwork… and let’s say, it’s giving Hallmark meets Modern Art Museum vibes. 🎨💫

Our Art Class meets weekly and explores all kinds of seasonal projects like this one. Throughout the year we sculpt, paint, and even learned calligraphy—there’s always something new to try and plenty of laughs along the way. Here’s to creativity, color, and Christmas cheer at Bradford Square! ❤️🎁

🎉🦃 Turkey Trot + Thanksgiving Fun at Bradford Square! 🦃🎉

It’s been a whirlwind of autumn excitement here at Bradford Square! We kicked things off with our annual Turkey Trot, where our spirited racers took on multi-skill challenges and dashed (or strolled!) toward the finish line. With both walker-assisted and ambulatory categories, the competition was friendly, fierce, and absolutely hilarious. Everyone had their eyes on those coveted trophies!

After all that action, we gathered for a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner, complete with an ice sculpture and a turkey that just might beat your mom’s… but don’t worry—your secret’s safe with us. 😉

It was a wonderful stretch of days filled with friendship, gratitude, laughter, and fantastic food—everything the season is meant to be. 🍁✨

On Wednesday, we celebrated our November birthdays with a heartwarming Friendsgiving Dinner — and what a night it was! Residents mixed and mingled at new tables, discovering just how much we all enjoy each other’s company. Conversation cards helped spark fun stories and fresh connections, and soon the entire room was buzzing with laughter and lively chatter.

Our wonderful performer filled the dining room with favorite tunes, setting the perfect backdrop for dancing and joyful moments. Dinner featured a reimagined twist on tradition — a delicious turkey-inspired meal with duck confit that everyone raved about.

It was a beautiful evening spent celebrating friendship, gratitude, and the joy of making new memories with old and new friends alike. 🧡🍁
