It was a night of intrigue and mystery… the gin rickeys were flowing, and Bradford Square was dripping in pearls, diamonds, feathers, and fedoras.

Residents arrived dressed to the nines, ready to dine, decipher clues, and discover whodunnit! The evening began with sausage and cheese stuffed mushrooms, followed by crab-stuffed salmon with mint couscous and baby grilled vegetables — a meal as glamorous as the guest list. And for dessert? A delectable Almond Joy cake that was simply the bee’s knees.

As secrets unfolded and suspicions swirled, the culprit was finally revealed — just in time to celebrate our February birthdays in true 1920s style.

It was laughter, luxury, and a little bit of lawlessness all wrapped into one unforgettable evening. Proof once again that at Bradford Square, we don’t just host dinners — we create experiences worth dressing up for. ✨

The Bradford Square Golden Tossers had their inaugural co****le showdown against the Pineapple House Pineapple Champs — and what a match it was!

We took the competition off-site, proudly sporting our navy and gold, and looking like absolute champions in our team shirts. The games were close, the cheering was loud, and the energy was high from start to finish. It all came down to the final throws… and we came up just ONE point short!

We’re chalking it up to inaugural match jitters — now that we’ve got our first game under our belts, watch out! 😉

A very special shoutout to Ralph, our incredible 98-year-old teammate, who was calm, focused, and fantastic on the boards. He proved that experience never goes out of style.

While we didn’t bring home the win this time, we absolutely brought the fun. The sportsmanship, laughter, and team spirit made it a victory in every way that counts.

Now we can’t wait to host the rematch at Bradford Square. Golden Tossers… round two is coming! 🏆

💜💛💚 Mardi Gras magic at Bradford Square Retirement Community 💜💛💚

Bradford Square’s Main Street transformed into Bourbon Street as we brought the spirit of New Orleans straight to SWFL! With lively Zydeco music filling the air, our residents competed in festive games to win beads — and then traded those beads in for prizes. Let the good times roll!

Feathered boas, colorful masks, and plenty of sparkle set the scene. The menu was pure NOLA: Hurricane punch, fried oysters, shrimp po’boys, beignets, and of course King Cake. This year, we made sure everyone received a “baby” on their cupcake to guarantee a little extra luck and a great year ahead for all.

The laughter was loud, the beads were flying, and the joy was contagious. It was a Mardi Gras celebration Southwest Florida could boast about — one that even New Orleans would be proud of! 🎭🎷✨

❤️ We turned Friday the 13th into a day full of love at Bradford Square Retirement Community ❤️

On February 13th, we celebrated Valentine’s Day a little early — and in true Bradford fashion, we elevated the afternoon into a beautiful, joy-filled Happy Hour.

Our dining room was transformed with festive décor and the most meaningful centerpieces of all — stunning 3D hearts handcrafted by our residents, each one bearing the name of someone in our community. It was a room literally filled with love. 💕

Every table enjoyed chocolate fountains and candy, delicious appetizers, and perfectly pink Cosmopolitans. Laughter echoed, friends toasted, and before long the dance floor was full.

The talented Gregg Clemons kept us entertained - his heartfelt rendition of Hallelujah didn’t leave a dry eye in the house — a truly unforgettable moment.

We had an incredible turnout — even our centenarian joined the celebration! It was a beautiful reminder that love, music, and community keep us young at heart.

What an amazing way to celebrate love at Bradford Square. 💗

🕺💃 We turned back the clock for our January Birthday Bash at Bradford Square — and it was a Sock Hop to remember! 🎶🍔
The Bradford Square Diner (circa 1950s) came to life as residents arrived to Tom Collins cocktails and stepped into a night full of music, dancing, laughter, and fabulous photo ops. 📸✨

Dinner was pure diner-style decadence with a twist:

🍽️ A classic 7-layer salad to start, followed by an elevated diner meatloaf, a mashed potato cupcake with mushroom demi-glace, surrounded by shrimp & scallop orzo and creamed spinach.

🍨 And for dessert? A show-stopping brownie and strawberry ice cream Baked Alaska!

From poodle skirts and leather jackets to dancing in the diner, the energy was electric and the smiles were endless. We celebrated our January birthdays in true Bradford Square style — with great food, great friends, and unforgettable fun. 💖🎉
