In fact, the heart sends more signals to the brain than the brain sends back. These signals influence emotional regulation, stress response, heart rhythm, and even how trauma is processed in the body.

Protein doesn’t have to be boring. 🥤✨

One of the easiest ways to stay consistent with protein is to actually enjoy it. That’s why I love using an unflavored protein as my base — it gives you total freedom to switch things up depending on your mood.

Some days it’s fruit.

When fats are overheated, heavily processed, or reused over and over, they become damaged fats — and these can quietly drive inflammation in the body.

🚫 Common sources include:
• Industrial seed oils (canola, soybean, corn)
• Deep-fried and fast foods
• Hydrogenated oils & shelf-stable snacks
• Rancid oils stored too long or exposed to heat

⚠️ Damaged fats can stress the heart, disrupt hormones, and burden the liver.

✅ Better fat choices we recommend:

Life is a lot like a railroad track — there’s a positive side and a negative side running right alongside each other.

And let’s be honest… life can be brutal at times. Loss, betrayal, health challenges, financial stress, disappointment — emotional weight is something we all carry at some point. 💔

Scripture reminds us that God never leaves us or forsakes us, even in the hardest seasons. And science continues to show just how deeply our hearts are affected by what we experience — emotionally, physically, and spiritually.

The heart is incredibly sensitive to:
• Thoughts
• Foods
• Toxins
• Trauma

Research shows that unresolved emotional stress doesn’t just “go away.” Adverse childhood experiences are strongly linked to chronic disease later in life. Injuries like whiplash can increase cardiovascular risk due to nerve involvement. Emotions that stay stuck in the body can create dis-ease over time — feelings buried alive never die.

The encouraging part? The body is capable of healing when it’s supported. Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) has been shown to positively shift brain patterns and help the body process stored emotional stress. Sometimes during chiropractic care, we notice an emotional layer that needs support — and encourage that patient to set up a Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) session with Dr. Andrea.
NET can be the breakthrough the body needs to process and begin to heal.
