Reading to your child can be a major boon to their early development, as it helps foster a connection, is shown to increase cognitive function, and can be a soothing sensory experience hearing their caregivers voice and holding a book. Reading to a child daily can lead to them being exposed to as many as 290,000 words before they reach age 5!

Our Story

Therapy Solutions provides comprehensive and developmental services for a wide range of disabilities and speech and language disorders. Our therapists work in a variety of settings including schools, day cares, preschools, home base and workshops/group homes for developmentally disabled adults to name a few. Therapy delivery models range from direct treatment to parent and staff in—service training. Because Therapy Solutions has therapists from different disciplines either employed or contracted, therapists have the opportunity to work as a multi—disciplinary professionals.

Therapy Solution Children’s Services is a non-profit organization providing Early Intervention services for Philadelphia County. Our Home Base Program provides services to children from birth to three years of age most often in the homes, day cares or in their communities. Our agency provides comprehensive developmental and rehabilitative services for a wide range of disabilities and speech and language disorders. We offer the following services; speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, special instruction, and hearing sensitivity.
