Today, we honor National First Responders Day—a time to recognize the bravery, dedication, and selflessness of the men and women who run toward danger when others run away. Firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, and all emergency personnel work tirelessly to keep our communities safe, often sacrificing time with their families and putting their own lives on the line. Their courage and commitment remind us of the true meaning of service and compassion. Let’s take a moment to thank these heroes for their unwavering devotion and the vital role they play in protecting and supporting us every single day.

To ensure everyone enjoys the holiday safely, remember to prioritize firework safety, heatstroke prevention (especially adults over 65 and young children under 4), and responsible grilling practices. Be aware of your surroundings, stay hydrated, and designate a sober driver if alcohol is involved. Hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday weekend!
