I want to be honest with you for a second. 💙

I opened Calm Down Wellness Studio because I genuinely believe that everyone deserves to feel good in their body and their mind — not just people who can afford a fancy retreat or a week off. I wanted to bring real, results-driven wellness therapies right here to Nashua, where our community actually needs them.

And I am so proud of what we've built.

But like every small business, we need you — our neighbors, our community — to keep doing it.

Here's what's waiting for you at Calm Down:

*Infrared Sauna
*Float Therapy
*Halotherapy
*HaloHut ✦ NEW
*Cold Plunge
*Contrast Therapy
*PEMF Infrared Mat
*BioCharger

Every single one of these services is designed to help with stress, anxiety, pain, sleep, recovery, inflammation, burnout — and so much more. And every single one works on both your body AND your mind, because you truly can't separate the two.

We also offer private events — bridal parties, birthdays, girls' nights, corporate wellness, date nights, and more. Give the people you love a gift they'll actually feel.

🎁 Gift certificates are available in person or online — and with Mother's Day right around the corner, there's no better time to treat the mom who deserves a real reset.

New to Calm Down? We offer special pricing for first-time visitors — because we know once you experience it, you'll understand why people keep coming back.

The space you didn't know you needed is right here in Nashua. Come see us.

Something new just landed at Calm Down — and we think you're going to love it. 💙

We're thrilled to introduce the BioCharger — a cutting-edge wellness technology that uses light, frequencies, harmonics, and pulsed energy to restore your body's natural vitality.

No needles. No pills. No effort. You simply sit near the device, relax, and let it work. Most people leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more energized than when they walked in.

It may help with:

⚡ Low energy and chronic fatigue
🧠 Mental fog and poor focus
💤 Sleep issues
🔥 Inflammation and slow recovery
😤 Stress and an overworked nervous system

Ready to stop running on empty? The Biocharger recharges your body's battery - one session at a time.

The BioCharger is available now at Calm Down — and as always, every service we offer works on both body AND mind, because you can't separate the two.

Ready to experience it?
Give us a call — we'd love to walk you through it.

ATTENTION WELLNESS PARTNERS - CHECK THIS FREE EVENT OUT AND TAKE ADVANTAGE OF AN AMAZING OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE YOUR SERVICES AND AMAZING GIFTS!

THERE IS STILL SPACE AVAILABLE!

It’s that time of year again and the City of Nashua Wellness Program is excited to once again invite you to our upcoming Wellness Fair’s for the employees and retirees of the City. It is the mission of the City’s Wellness Program to connect individuals to wellness resources, screenings and opportunities in their community to better enhance their health and well-being and knowledge of wellness.

We would be grateful if you would join us at one or both events. We will have a Baseball theme for this year’s events with a tag line “Hitting a Grand Slam with our Health and Wellness!” Attire will be business casual and we encourage vendors to join in the theme and wear their favorite baseball team attire. We are planning for fun and games, baseball trivia, and ballpark snacks. The door prizes will be a Red Sox Pack with 2 tickets to a Red Sox Game.

City of Nashua-Citywide Fair
Date: Friday, May 1st
Time: 12:30pm to 4pm
Location: Nashua Senior Center, 70 Temple Street, Nashua

Nashua School Department-Schoolwide Fair
Date: Wednesday, May 6th
Time: 3pm to 6pm
Location: Nashua South-Cafeteria

This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with City employees and retirees and to make a meaningful impact on their well-being. We welcome raffle prizes, give-a-ways, health screenings, and demonstrations.

We have moved the Citywide Fair to the Nashua Senior Center which will offer a much better space for our vendors and attendees with plenty of parking, and easy access in and out of the building. In addition, we shortened the time of the Citywide Fair from 5 hours in length to 3 ½ hours, based off of last year’s feedback that the fair was too long.

Whether your can attend one or both fairs, we would love to have you participate and have the opportunity to engage with our employees and retirees. If your company is interested in joining us , please RSVP using the link below ASAP. Deadline has been extended.

Feel free to reach out with any questions and please share this invite with other wellness vendors in your network. We welcome new vendors to the events. Looking forward to seeing you again!

Spring Health Tips!

Tis the season for seeing green start to appear and the days are feeling longer. Finally! It's been a long winter... It's also a season that can feel tough on our bodies and this is for a few reasons...
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, Spring is the season when the liver becomes most active.

The liver is considered the General or all the other organs and it's also the main detoxifier of the body. Because of this, the liver energetically helps manage many of the emotions that we carry in all the meridians. It has a lot of work to do come spring! Not only does it have to clean up the heavier foods we consumed all winter, but it also helps to clean up unprocessed emotions - stress, anger, frustration, grief, sadness, etc...

If it has a lot of work to do and if it isn't supported well this can present symptoms of: irritability, joint pain, sleep disturbance, feeling tired, "boggy or sludgy" feeling, getting a "seasonal cold" (immune system cleaning up the system), or even digestive symptoms like reflux or bloating. So many people presented with GERD this week! Most of this can be improved with a little gentle liver and lymph / detox support. Here are a few suggestions:

1) Start to eat some lighter foods, but it's not tome for cold, raw salads yet. Think curried cauliflower soup (I like this recipe, but I leave out the sugar: https://foodandtools.com/2014/10/21/dr-weils-curried-cauliflower-soup-vegan-recipe/). I also make Kitchari and eat mostly that for a few days this time of year (https://realandvibrant.com/healing-ayurvedic-kitchari/ ) I use Egyptian red lentils instead of moong dal as they are easier to find
Also, try to leave at least a 12 hour intermittent fasting window overnight. This really helps your body start to clean house.

2) Get the lymph moving! Sauna or sweat if you can. And, if you're up for it, when in the shower, turn the water to very warm for a minute, and then cold for 20 seconds spraying at the chest / thymus. Alternate 3 times.

3) Drink some liver supportive teas like dandelion root, milk thistle, and ginger. I like to add nettle this time of year too.

4) Consider acupuncture! It's really helping people this time of year. Reach out if you'd like to get in

5) Castor oil packs over the liver! One of my favorite at home self-care hacks.

What else do you like to do to support yourself this time of year?

I’m always looking for new events to attend and learn from — and always working to better support my own health and the health of others. 🩵

Has anyone been to this event before or planning to go?

I’m also always looking to connect with other wellness professionals and even DIY clients who’ve found what works for them — I love seeing what others are doing and learning from it. EveryBODY is different….We don’t know what we don’t know!

If you’re attending, or know of any great local events, I’d love to connect or check them out. ✨

One-day events, trade shows, weekly get-togethers…

Drop a comment with your favorite events or something new you’re trying out. Let’s share so others know where they can go to better their own health and wellness. 🩵

The largest and longest-running conference dedicated to biohacking. Dave Asprey hosts his 13th Biohacking Conference May 27-29 in Austin, Texas. Where you discover the tools, tests, and teachings to live longer, think clearer, and lead at your highest level.

Building a business from scratch is hard.

Building it by yourself… just a little harder. 😉

And somewhere in between showing up for everyone else, you have to remember to show up for yourself too. 🩵

No one wants the landscaper with the neglected yard… or the wellness girl who never actually takes care of herself. 😅

So this is me — stacking what I can on my one day off, after all things home & family.

Mask, foot detox, red light, absorbing information.… and calling it balance for today.

Not perfect, just intentional.

When do you fit your self care in?
I’d love to hear what works for you — always open to new ideas 🩵🧘🏻💡
