A few key highlights from February 2026 and year-to-date include:
• 39 overdose reversals in February, bringing the 2026 total to 73 lives saved so far this year.
• 139 total service transactions in February, with 139 unique clients served, reflecting strong engagement with the program.
• 787 secondary contacts in February alone, showing the continued ripple effect of harm reduction outreach in the community.
• 12,280 sterile syringes distributed in February, contributing to 26,730 distributed so far in 2026, while maintaining a 91% return rate, demonstrating responsible disposal and strong participant engagement.
• 503 safer injection kits distributed in February (1,011 year-to-date).
• Expanded distribution of harm reduction supplies including:
90 fentanyl test kits
69 xylazine test kits
110 wound care kits
154 safer smoking bubble kits
281 health and behavioral health connections were made, linking participants with healthcare, mental health, substance use disorder services, and testing resources.
Compared to February 2025, the data reflects significant growth in overdose reversals, outreach contacts, and harm reduction supply distribution, indicating both increased need and increased program reach.
These numbers continue to reinforce the importance of low-barrier harm reduction services in preventing overdose, connecting individuals to care, and reducing community health risks.
