More than 20 partner organizations gathered yesterday at Harbor Care Health & Wellness Center for the Greater Nashua Continuum of Care strategic planning meeting. The Continuum of Care brings together housing and service providers, city and state officials, and individuals with lived experience to improve coordination and expand access to support for those experiencing or at risk of homelessness. We hosted Congresswoman Maggie Goodlander and local organizations to address how the shutdown — and the lapse in SNAP and healthcare support — is affecting our neighbors who are already struggling to make ends meet. If you or someone you know is struggling to access food during the federal shutdown, you can call 211 NH to find the nearest pantry. Thank you to everyone who joined meeting!

We’re very pleased to announce our October Employee Spotlight as Kevin Drouin. Kevin has worked as a Maintenance Technician with our Facilities team for a little over 7 years. He is a big part of the success of team and is an amazing asset to the organization. Kevin comes to work every day, ready to go and does not let up until he gets the job done, even when it means working long hours. From apartment turnovers to emergency maintenance issues, he is right there to answer the call with a smile on his face.

Kevin has shown the ability to solve problems in tough situations and make decisions quickly and wisely to get the job done. He has recently taken the lead on some of our top priority projects and has completed them efficiently and professionally. Kevin is one of the key individuals that that keeps our buildings safe, our clients housed and our programs supported. Thank you for all you do Kevin!
