Nashua Clinic has been proudly serving Nashua and the surrounding communities since 2008. As part of the Waverly Health Center system, the Nashua Clinic has a heritage of a focus on the local community and of service to the individuals and families that make up the community.
Our providers are Dr. Colin DeFord, D.O. and Tara Hensley, PA-C. Both Tara and Dr. DeFord work at the Nashua Clinic full time with the goals of continuing to develop long term relationships with the people of Nashua and its surrounding communities while positively affecting the health and well-being of this community.
Tara has been working full time at the Nashua Clinic since 2015, and is a native of Northern Iowa. She has 3 children, two boys and a girl, and lives with her husband in Northern Iowa.
Dr. DeFord is a native of Perry, Iowa, and started at the Nashua Clinic in 2018. He completed medical school at Des Moines University, and did his residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. Prior to joining the Nashua Clinic, he was an active duty member of the Air Force for 7 years where he worked as a family physician. He is married and has 4 daughters and lives with his family in Waverly.
In addition to Dr. DeFord and Tara, the Nashua Clinic family includes Megan Smith, RN; Lindsay Brinkman, CMA; Natalie Salinas, LPN; and Gena Miller, our receptionist.
