This Diabetes Awareness Month, we’re proud to spotlight Christopher Beaudet, APRN, at Southern NH Diabetes and Endocrinology, whose dedication and expertise have made a lasting impact on our patients and community.

Christopher has been a part of Southern NH Health for 18 years, starting as a new graduate nurse in 2005. After 10 years as an RN in various clinical and leadership roles, he transitioned into his current role as a nurse practitioner, where he’s spent the last 8 years specializing in diabetes care.

Christopher’s approach to patient care is rooted in collaboration and empowerment. “I think of myself more as a coach,” he says. “I listen carefully to what my patients share, analyze the data, and work with them to put the right tools in their hands so they can achieve their health care goals.” His work helps patients manage their glucose levels, preventing further damage to vital organs and improving overall health outcomes.

What keeps Christopher here is the shared mission: “I strongly believe in patient-centered care, and everyone at our organization works tirelessly toward that goal.”

Outside of work, Christopher enjoys golfing, candlepin bowling, cooking, music, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife, son, and daughter. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the New Hampshire Nurse Practitioners Association, where he advocates for policies that support Nurse Practitioners in delivering the best care possible across the state.

Thank you, Christopher, for your unwavering commitment to our patients and your leadership in diabetes care!

The September Walk with Me – Compassion in Action Award has been given to the Southern NH Medical Center West 4 team! This team consistently demonstrates what it means to provide care with heartfelt compassion.

Recently, a patient shared an extraordinary compliment that speaks volumes about the team’s impact:

“I am in awe at the experience we’ve had….since the moment of arrival, I witnessed a degree of excellence and compassion like never before in all of my years... Never in my life have I been treated with such respect, dignity, and compassion. Every nurse, doctor, and all others coming into my room were a credit to their profession."

The team's ability to collaborate seamlessly and go above and beyond for patients and families reflects the very essence of patient-centered care.

West 4’s commitment to excellence transforms the patient experience into something truly meaningful. Their actions remind us that compassion is not just a value; it’s a practice that changes lives.

We are honored to present this award in collaboration with the Legacy Trust, made possible through the generous support of the Richard Stahl Trust.
