We are incredibly grateful to Pamm Hughes and her Science Club at St. Christopher Academy. Through their work with a Hydroponic growing system, they have successfully harvested a large crop of fresh lettuce for our food pantry.
Even more inspiring, this project is now becoming part of the 7th grade Life Science curriculum. The four students who helped lead these first harvests will now teach the lesson and train the next group of young growers. This is what community partnership looks like - education, compassion, and action coming together to care for others.

Ash Wednesday is a quiet invitation.
An invitation to pause.
To reflect.
The ashes are a symbol of humility and hope. In healthcare, we are called to that same posture - to serve with gentleness, to listen with intention, and to walk with patients in both uncertainty and healing. Today, we reflect on our mission and recommit ourselves to care that is rooted in dignity, mercy, and compassion.

For 15 years, the Pink Ride has brought this community together with one powerful purpose - supporting breast care close to home. We are deeply grateful to share that more than $250,000 has been raised through this incredible one-hour snowmobile ride to benefit the Breast Care Center at St. Joseph Hospital.
Thank you to the Nor Easter’s Snowmobile Club, and special thanks to Amos White, Joe Vallier, and Sue Keough for your leadership, heart, and commitment to this mission year after year. We are proud to stand with you - and grateful for 15 years of generosity in motion. 💗

Congratulations to Transporter for Patient Care Services, Marc Bechard - our February 2026 Mission Champion!
Marc began his journey at St. Joseph Hospital in 2019 working in the OR as a Unit Assistant for Anesthesia. Marc says he likes knowing that he is helping, especially when a department is extremely busy and he can help to make things run more efficiently. One of the highlights of his day is seeing people and patients in the halls that he has transported before and then recognize him. Who could forget that beard!
We hit the halls today ahead of Super Bowl Sunday to see what our staff thinks about the big game. From bold score guesses to friendly rivalries, our community had fun sharing their predictions.
Who do you think will take it all? Drop your pick in the comments!

Today, our St. Joseph Hospital team is wearing red to stand together for heart health. Heart disease is the leading cause of death in women, and Wear Red Day is a powerful reminder of the importance of prevention, awareness, and care.
We are proud of our staff who show up every day - and today in red - to support healthier hearts in our community.

Last Thursday, several members of our leadership team volunteered alongside the Nashua Department of Public Health and Community Services to support the annual Point-In-Time (PIT) Count.
With temperatures hovering near zero degrees, outreach focused on local shelters and warming stations to connect with and count individuals experiencing homelessness. We were proud to partner with the DPHCS team and support this important effort to better understand and serve our community’s most vulnerable neighbors.

The Nashua Fire Department is reporting an explosion on Amherst Street in Nashua. Out of caution to keep the area clear and to keep our patients and staff safe, all appointments at our Amherst Street location (460 Amherst St) are canceled for today.
