Yesterday, AGAPE was blessed by an incredible group of skilled volunteers who said yes to spending the day making much-needed repairs at our Morning Star Shelter. More than 20 employees from BECI and LRT, along with spouses and several of their children, participated in the BECI Family Day of Service, generously sharing their expertise and energy with our team.

BECI is a full-service building enclosure consulting firm, and LRT is a premier specialty contractor specializing in building envelope and structural restoration, waterproofing, and industrial restoration. Their partnership and willingness to serve made a meaningful difference for the survivors who rely on Morning Star Shelter for safety and stability. We are deeply grateful for their hands-on support and for the donors who make partnerships like this possible.Esn

Yesterday we had the privilege of honoring Mary Lee Thompson as she retires from faithful service to our Mentoring Program for domestic violence survivors. Mary Lee has led the program for over 25 years and has been influential in the lives of dozens of women. Thank you, Mary Lee!

AGAPE exists to strengthen children and families with the healing love of Christ.

Founded in 1966, AGAPE provides services to a 39-county area of Middle Tennessee. AGAPE offers foster care, adoption, unplanned pregnancy counseling and a complete outpatient mental health and psychological counseling service.

We embrace people in need – people who often have nowhere else to turn. From addiction to broken families, mental illness to spiritual despair, neglect to abuse – our professional counselors, social workers and support staff receive with open arms those who cry out. At AGAPE, we know love works because we see it in action each and every day.
