Today marks 8 years since we launched direct DOC on April 1, 2018 — with a simple belief: healthcare should be personal, accessible, and actually work for patients.

In 2020, we evolved into Orchard Health — not just a rebrand, but a commitment to growing something deeper. A place where relationships matter, physicians and providers have autonomy, and patients are more than a diagnosis code or time slot on the schedule.

It's just broken...when any insurance becomes the gatekeeper to access, care, and maintenance - whether that is your health, home or car - something is not right. Insurance is for when something major happens, not routine visits or preventative care.
