“Something on my mind lately, ya'll... I see quite a few posts about clients without insurance and needing sliding scale. It could be helpful to remind folks that they can sign up for insurance on Healthcare. gov. It's where I got my own insurance and many of my clients got theirs. With the extensive subsidies for those making less than $57,000 per year, this could be a really good option for those who would not otherwise be able to access affordable therapy. Sign up by Dec 15th for coverage to start on Jan 1st. However, people can sign up any time if they have experienced a qualifying event like job loss, divorce, etc”
