Spring forward this Sunday! ⏰

We may all be ready for the longer daylight, but are we ready for the biological shift?

In this video, I explain what is neurobiologically happening in your brain when our inner dimmer switch gets off. Circadian rhythyms are not easy to get back into sync after a mini jet lag occurs.

By following a few easy steps, you will be more ready to rewire the switch. 💛

With some intentional actions of preparation, prioritization of self-awareness, and mindful perspective, you (and your child) will spring forward with more ease.

Feeling overwhelmed? Try this.

When your brain is buzzing and your body’s on edge, the 5 Senses Check-In can help bring you back to the present. It’s simple enough for kids and powerful enough for adults.

No fancy tools. Just your own awareness.

This practice doesn’t just bring balance, it teaches your brain what safety feels like.

Save this for later 💛
Share it with someone who needs a gentle reset today.

Maybe the words came out sharper than you meant.
Maybe you missed the moment to connect.
Maybe the past still weighs heavy.

But grace says this: It is never too late to pause, repair, and move forward with intention. ❤️

Every moment is a new chance to choose connection over perfection.

It’s not just about the words we say, it’s the felt-sense behind them. 🧠💛

Thanks to mirror neurons, our brains are constantly picking up emotional cues from one another. That’s why a connected presence can soothe a meltdown… and why our own self-awareness is one of the most powerful parenting tools we have.

The more connected we are within, the more connected we can be with those we love.
