About Khu-Chi Essentiality

Khu-Chi Essentiality was founded by Asha (Obba Kemi) Middleton in 2017 with the purpose of creating and holding safe and sacred spaces for women to improve emotional, physical, and psychological well-being utilizing the ancient wisdom of Yoni Steaming.

Knowledge from ancient Kemet teaches us that Khu- is the division of the spirit that takes care of our thoughts to remind us of our divinity. We know that Chi- is the Life Force Energy that exist in all things as a permanent, essential attribute. Using the Khu-Chi Steam Method we are teaching, encouraging, and supporting women to tap into ancient knowledge reminding ourselves of our divinity and harnessing the energy we possess to birth joy, peace, balance, and abundance into our lives. Asha (Obba Kemi) is a Certified Yoni Steam Practitioner (Yoni Steam Institute) and Womb Wrap Detox Specialist, as well as a trained Doula.

Yoni Steaming is an ancient practice traditionally passed on through women to promote and maintain womb health and balance. This practice is known among African, Asian, and South American women and has recently been coined as Vaginal steaming, V-steam, and Korean hip Bath. Yoni Steaming has been made popular via mainstream media and is described as a hydrotherapy using herbs that have an affinity for promoting womb health. An herbal steam is created using the herbs the woman will then sit or squat over the herbal steam for 20-40 min. Benefits of a Yoni Steam are Improved Fertility, Steams help release toxins from the body, and improve unwanted symptoms associated with your cycle. Yoni Steams address chronic womb issues such as Fibroid Tumors, P.C.O.S, Ovarian Cyst, Endometriosis, Chronic Miscarriages, Yeast, BV, Painful Me**es, Womb Trauma, Birth Trauma, and Relationship Trauma.
