✨ Giving Tuesday starts with you! ✨

Today is Giving Tuesday, and we’re calling in our community.
MashUp is growing, our impact is expanding, and we want our sustainability to grow with us.

Monthly donors make our programming and impact possible.

Whether it’s $5, $15, or $50 a month, your recurring support helps us provide valuable resources to black LGBTQ+ folks, supports our organizational health, host healing spaces, and show up every day for this community!

This Giving Tuesday, help us reach our goal of 100 monthly donors so we can keep MashUp sustainable, bold, and growing.

🌈 Community care makes this work real

Today we honor every life touched by HIV. We had the chance to share why this matters on WSMV4 news — because HIV is still here, our people are still here, and joy is still a part of our survival.

Tonight we show up with love, legacy, and loud celebration.
On World AIDS Day, MashUp is honored to partner with Portara Ensemble for ONE VISION: A Tribute to QUEEN — raising awareness, raising funds, and raising the volume on community care.

Join us at Eastside Bowl at 7:30 PM. Tickets are linked in our bio.

HIV is not a relic of the past. It is a lived experience for our people right now. Stigma is still real. Barriers to care are still real. But so is our power.

Whether you are living with HIV, loving someone who is, working to end stigma, or just learning how to show up better — you belong here. You are seen. You are loved.

Solidarity is not symbolic. It is action. It is care. It is showing up today and every day.

Invest in hope. Invest in change. Invest in MashUp! - Become a sponsor!

MashUp Weekend is more than a celebration — it’s our largest fundraiser of the year. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to sustain critical programs and strengthen our capacity to serve the community. We need you!

In a time when Black LGBTQ+ communities face increasing political and financial barriers, MashUp continues to rise as a lifeline of care and connection. At the start of 2025, we lost a major CDC grant that funded our signature mental health initiative, Mindful MashUp Transformation Program. Instead of retreating, we embodied this year’s theme of “Resurrection Renaissance” — expanding partnerships, securing new foundation support, and keeping our programs alive for the community that depends on us.

Every sponsorship helps sustain our work. Your support directly fuels programs that uplift individuals, fortify community connections, and drive meaningful, long-term change. Together, we are not just addressing disparities—we are reimagining systems and building futures where Black LGBTQ+ people can thrive.

Sharing meals and breaking bread is a ritualistic form of communion that has brought together communities and cultures for centuries. During a time of political hostility, food insecurity, and isolation it is important now more than ever to facilitate spaces that emphasize interfaith and intergenerational unity and that focus on uplifting marginal voices.

We invite you to join us for two communal dinners supplied by that are set to take place during the harsh winter months and holiday seasons. With these meals, we intend to nurture an inclusive and safe environment for open dialogue and solidarity between those of all backgrounds and life experiences. Conversation and communion will be held in the Random Sample Gallery during their display of “Cut Out the Tongue,” which is a mixed-media exhibit that showcases artists with Southwest Asian and North African backgrounds, with proceeds directly benefitting families in Gaza. The intention is to welcome the local diverse communities of Nashville to celebrate their role in inspiring the exhibits we witness all throughout the city. So please join us as we shift our focus to opening our doors to making art and community accessible, all in the same space.

**This space will simultaneously function as a platform to donate essential items to Random Sample’s donation bin located outside. You can either Venmo @ ivywelsh directly or drop off essential items including: AA/AAA batteries, baby wipes, hand warmers, pop top soup cans, pop top tinned meat, apple sauce, and dog food during the time of the communal meals, regardless of registration.

If you have any questions or concerns please contact .nation

Nov 29, 2025, 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
At Random Sample Gallery (4904 Charlotte Ave, Nashville, TN 37209, USA)
