Bestway Services is seeking Janitorial Supervisors for both Part Time and Full Time.

-Part Time Weekends, 1st shift 6am-2:30pm.

Pay: $19/hour

**POSITION REQUIRES A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE.

Manages, supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in cleaning and maintaining garage premises of airport by performing the following duties:

Supervising of the shift responsibilities· Handling employee issues
Responsible for supervision of all staff when Facility Manager isn't present and fulfilling any customer related requests.
Working knowledge of the use and care of cleaning equipment and supplies including, but not limited to, wet and dry vacuum cleaners, mop wringers, mops, brushes, soaps and cleaning fluids.
Performing various cleaning duties in instances of staff shortages.
Assigning housekeeping tasks to staff and inspecting work to ensure that the prescribed standards of cleanliness are met.
Scheduling staff shifts and organizing replacements as required.
Investigating and addressing complaints regarding poor housekeeping service.
Providing training to the housekeeping staff.
Regularly taking inventory of cleaning supplies
Issuing cleaning supplies and equipment to housekeeping staff as needed.
Additional duties may be assigned by Janitorial Manager as needed.

Part Time Time, $17.00/per hour

Weekend Shift
-1st Shift - 6:00AM - 2:30PM (2 available)
-1st Shift - 9am-2:30pm
-2nd Shift - 4:30pm-10:30pm
or 12 hour shift available. If 12 hour shift, would be Saturday and Sunday 9am-9:30pm.

-Must be able to pass a background check.
-Must be able to work every weekend

3rd Shift: 10pm to 5:30am Monday - Friday. 32.5 hours per week

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures. Refill restroom dispensers. Stock them with soap, toilet paper, and other supplies as required.
Clean, dust, and wipe furniture; sweep, mop, or vacuum floors; empty and clean wastebaskets, trash containers; empty and clean ash trays and cigarette urns; replace light bulbs. Assist with the setup of facilities for meetings, classrooms, conferences, events.
Wash accessible interior and exterior windows. Clean blinds. Launder cleaning rags and dust mops.
Turn off lights. Secure building when work has been completed, checking for unlocked doors and windows. Report any unauthorized occupants.
Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing snow or debris from sidewalks and stairs in areas within sixteen feet of buildings using hand-operated tools or small power equipment.
Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis.
Perform related duties as required.

In this position you will establish & maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills via phone, computer, and face to face. You will perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, site surveys, and service requests by customers. Communicating with customers and/or Project Managers regarding inspection/service findings is required. In this position you will be responsible for assisting HVAC Field Technicians in the installation and repair of environmental control systems, utilizing knowledge of refrigeration theory, control systems, pipe fitting, and structural layouts.

-Responsible for assisting and learning end to end testing, starting up, commissioning, and servicing on assigned projects.
-Represents the company by learning to serve as the direct customer contact and is responsible for servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing and repairing equipment and systems at customer’s location.
-Coordinates with Field Technician and customer to precisely understand requirements for all on-site installation and repairs by extensively examining building layouts, forecasting issues, gathering materials and synchronizing on-site work.
-Uses cutting edge software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, following engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
-Continually enforces safety to the highest standards and maintains security and accountability of company issued and procured assets by recording use, wear and conditions.
-Displays team effort and dedication to customer by maintaining flexibility to work overtime as the business requires and always be on time for work.

Qualifications:

-Must be able to positively pass the Nashville TN Metro Government background and Drug screening process.
-This position requires the candidate to provide and wear steel toe or equivalent safety shoes. All other safety equipment will be provided.
-Operating knowledge of Microsoft office software and working proficiency with hand held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad).
-This position requires working in diverse conditions including but not limited to mechanical equipment rooms with exposure to noisy operating equipment, exposure to extreme weather conditions, precarious places, and risk of electrical shock (high voltage).
-This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling. It requires you to regularly lift and or move up to 10 lbs, frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs.

Bestway Services is currently hiring for a full-time Floor Care Technician for our LA Courthouse location in Los Angeles, CA. Full-time schedule is Monday-Friday 4:30 PM - 1:00AM. Pay for the position is $20.60 per/hr. ($16 per hour and $4.60 per hour for health and welfare).

Some experience is required but not necessary:

Buffers
Burnishers
Carpet extractors
Walk Behind
Scrubbers

Types of flooring within the property:
-Carpet Cleaning
-Floor Waxing
-Terrazzo

Requirements:
-Be able to work independently
-Physically able to walk, stand, repetitive bending forward, push/pull objects, repetitive lift and/or move objects up to 25lbs, kneeling down, reaching & grasping, repetitive arm movements and occasional climbing with or without a reasonable accommodation.
