Proud to be part of the Grammy MusiCares event today, supporting an organization that shows up for the music community in meaningful ways. As a therapist working with artists and industry executives, I see firsthand how vital mental health care is in this space. Grateful to stand alongside others who are committed to both the well-being and brilliance of those who shape the soundtrack of our lives. 🎶🧠❤️

✨ Mental Health Trends to Watch in 2025 ✨

The mental health landscape is shifting. Here are three important trends in therapy and coaching that are gaining attention in 2025.

☮️ Emotional Wellness: It's about more than just self-care. Building emotional intelligence can help us better understand ourselves, our relationships, and how we cope with life’s challenges. This is something I work on with clients, helping them develop greater emotional awareness and balance.

🧠 Internal Family Systems (IFS): IFS encourages us to explore the different "parts" of ourselves—like the inner critic or the protector—to better understand our behaviors. It’s different than traditional talk therapy and a powerful way to work through internal conflict.

🍄 Psychedelic Integration: As more people explore psychedelics, it’s important to also process and integrate the insights and emotions that come up. This kind of integration therapy helps to make sense of experiences and turn them into meaningful change.

These trends reflect the evolving understanding of mental health. If you’re curious about emotional wellness, IFS, or integrating psychedelic experiences, I’d be happy to talk more with you—reach out anytime.

Trauma is neither a disease nor a disorder, but rather an injury caused by fright, helplessness, and loss that can be healed by engaging our innate capacity to self-regulate high states of arousal and intense emotions.

Just finished this book and highly recommend! Many great takeaways, but what is sticking with me the most are Clear's writings on identity...

"The key to mitigating these losses of identity is to redefine yourself such that you get to keep important aspects of your identity even if you particular role changes.

"I'm an athlete becomes "I'm the type of person who is mentally tough and loves a physical challenge."

"I'm the CEO" translates to "Im the type of person who builds and creates things."

When chosen effectively, an identity can be flexible rather than brittle."

Packed with evidence-based strategies, Atomic Habits will teach you how to make small changes that will transform your habits and deliver amazing results.
