Details are yet to be worked out, but you can private message me here or on my page to see about getting scheduled. I will also be posting additional contact details in the near future. I will only be seeing clients via telehealth as I get established, but will be doing in-person work as soon as I am able!

Fatherhood: One of life’s greatest challenges, and greatest rewards. I wrote a blog post one month after starting this journey of fatherhood, and I wanted to share some of it here with you. You can read the whole blog post through the link in my bio.

1. Do EVERYTHING else.

2. Sleep as much as you can.

3. Find things that make you laugh!

4. Give yourself some grace.

5. Take a step back.

6. Give your partner some grace.

7. Spend time on your relationship.

Parenthood is hard! And these tips are NOT a foolproof guide, but they just might help make things easier.

A question that comes up a lot in therapy is how to improve sleep.

Many report trouble falling asleep, many report trouble staying asleep, and that can be due to a number of factors. There is no one-size-fits all solution, but these tips are a great place to get started! You can also begin to incorporate meditation in to your night time routine or begin waking up at a consistent time each morning.

Start adjusting your routine with small changes at first. The biggest obstacle to getting good sleep at night is making too many changes at once, and then stopping them all a week later because you don’t think you can keep up with your new routine.

Hello! My name is Micah Sparrow, and I am a therapist in Nashville, TN. I wanted to introduce myself, and share some thing so that you can get to know me better.

I live in the Nashville area with my wife, daughter, two dogs, and a cat. I can be found reading, playing games (of both the board and video variety), or watching movies or tv shows with my family. We LOVE Survivor, and it is my dream to one day compete on the show for the $1,000,000!

When it comes to therapy, I am passionate about working with families. I spent five years in youth and children’s ministries before transitioning into therapy, and it was this background in the church which helped me develop my interest in mental health. I specialize in therapies designed to help with anxiety, depression, life transitions, religious trauma, marriage therapy, and grief and loss. I use a variety of techniques from across multiple disciplines and philosophies including Adlerian therapy, family-centered therapy, narrative therapy, career counseling, play therapy, CBT, and DBT.
