We are a recovery bookstore that has anything from 12 Steps, mindfulness, trauma & healing, LGBTQ community, professional resources, and gifts, including medallions. Recovery Books & Things is part of a non-profit, where all of our proceeds go to helping those who struggle with addiction and mental health issues to find a better way to live. A beautiful soul and amazing woman, by the name of Chrissi, took over the store 1 year ago. In this time she spent hours creating a recovery book store that could help almost anyone wanting to recover from any addictive substances or simply bettering their life. My name is Celina and I will be taking over Chrissi's place to help grow the bookstore and continue her legacy. Here, at our quaint little shop, I will continue to offer all of the 12 Step materials, faith-based books and wonderful gifts that we have always offered. In addition we now offer harm reduction titles such as " Medically Assisted Recovery" , mindfulness titles like "Smart Recovery", as well as true stories: "Dreamland", "Trauma & Healing", "Blackout Girl Series", as well as Relationship titles: "Narcissistic Abuse Recovery". we will also be carrying titles for Women, Men and the LGBTQ community. Barely scratching the surface, our goal is to bring more exciting and educational titles to our shelves and assist in connecting the recovery community once more, by offering everyone a seat at our table, no matter the background.
