Parallon is the administrative support platform for HCA Healthcare, providing full-service revenue cycle, contact center, and clinical and administrative services. We provide end-to-end management of the healthcare revenue cycle, ultimately achieving total patient account resolution for HCA Healthcare — across multiple provider types (hospitals, FSEDs, physicians, UCCs and specialty services). In addition, we support HCA Healthcare patients and colleagues with contact center functions to ensure more timely and efficient connection to services. We also deliver clinical and administrative services to the HCA Healthcare enterprise to harness the power of shared services in clinical spaces. Note: Parallon also serves external clients, from full-service revenue cycle management functions (excluding HIM, credentialing and physician billing services) to point solutions for specific revenue cycle needs. Parallon has approximately 18,000 colleagues and serves roughly 500 hospitals and 1,900 physician practices.

These are part of the 44 HCA Healthcare hospitals recognized on Healthgrades’ America’s 250 Best Hospitals list for 2026. Three years ago, Kathy Miller – a hairstylist from Austin, Texas – was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) after experiencing severe fatigue and shortness of breath. Thanks to the life-saving care Kathy received at HCA Healthcare affiliate St. David's HealthCare, Kathy is now thriving.

Dr. Aravind Ramakrishnan, medical director of the Sarah Cannon Transplant and Cellular Therapy Program at St. David's South Austin Medical Center recently joined Kathy on KXAN to share the importance of early detection and the advanced cancer care resources available to Central Texans.

“Kathy had a very high white blood count, almost 300,000. Normally, your white blood cell count is around 4 to 10,000,” said Dr. Ramakrishnan. “We learned early on by studying her leukemia that this was probably not going to go away with just the chemotherapy we were giving. She needed a bone marrow transplant to protect her.”

Kathy underwent a successful bone marrow transplant from a donor in Germany and is now in remission.

Across the HCA Healthcare Sarah Cannon Cancer Network, more than 130,000 patients are treated each year. Our teams work together to deliver comprehensive care, cutting-edge research and unwavering support – the same expertise that helped Kathy reclaim her life.
