Today is World Teen Mental Wellness Day. Every teen deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported. Today is a reminder to normalize conversations about mental health, break the stigma, and encourage teens to prioritize their well-being. A simple check-in, a listening ear, or words of encouragement can make a lasting difference. Together, we can create a community where teens know they are not alone.

The Tennessee Su***de Prevention Network (TSPN) is the statewide organization responsible for implementing the Tennessee Strategy for Su***de Prevention as defined by the 2001 National Strategy for Su***de Prevention.
TSPN is a grass-roots association which includes counselors, mental health professionals, physicians, clergy, journalists, social workers, and law enforcement personnel, as well as survivors of su***de and su***de attempts. TSPN works across the state under the direction of our Executive Director to eliminate the stigma of su***de and educate communities about the warning signs of su***de, with the ultimate intention of reducing su***de rates in the state of Tennessee.
We seek to achieve these objectives through organizing and promoting regular regional activities, providing su***de prevention and crisis intervention training to community organizations, and conducting postvention sessions for schools and organizations after su***des occur.
Su***de affects people of all ages, races, and socioeconomic groups. Hence we encourage and celebrate the engagement of people from all walks of life in our su***de prevention campaign, sharing their stories, making a difference in their communities, and helping to save lives.
