Do you have shoulder pain or neck pain that doesn’t seem to go away? No matter how much you rub it, stretch it, strengthen it? I would like to say, based on thousands of people I have had the pleasure of helping over the decades…YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
Most of the time and are caused from an asymmetry in our shoulders. When our shodulers are out of position, it drastically impacts the position of our cervical spine (aka our neck). When I worked with Claire, she came in with one shoulder higher than the other while the other shoulder was rounding forward.
Here’s the kicker, most shoulder imbalances are rooted in a hip disfunction. Once we straightened out her hips, the shoulders fell back into a much better position and decreased her shoulder pain quite a bit. THEN we went after the rest of her shoulder imbalance which took away all of her shoulder and neck pain.
