💨 5 Simple Hacks to Ease Bloating

If your stomach feels puffy or tight after meals, it’s often your gut’s way of saying it needs a little extra care. Try these 5 gentle shifts that support digestion and help the body clear stagnation 👇

1️⃣ Remove excess sugar + processed foods: they feed harmful bacteria and yeast.
2️⃣ Skip raw or cold meals: warm, cooked foods are easier on your Spleen Qi.
3️⃣ Use gentle acupressure on the Stomach 36 and Spleen 6 points to move energy.
4️⃣ Sip ginger tea: it warms digestion and soothes the gut lining.
5️⃣ Support a parasite cleanse to clear hidden causes of bloating.

Your gut is a powerful communicator. When you bring warmth, movement, and balance back to your digestion, the body naturally starts to feel lighter and more at ease. 🌿

Healing doesn’t have to be complicated.

Sometimes it’s as simple as swapping a cold salad for a warm bowl of soup or taking five minutes to breathe and sip some tea. Listen to your body’s signals; it knows exactly what it needs to find its way back to balance. ✨

Menstrual cramps are connected to your liver? In TCM, they are!

Dr. Chloe Weber put it beautifully when I interviewed her on the podcast about TCM: not only is the liver closely tied with anger and frustration, but the liver controls flow and movement in your body.

So when Liver Chi stagnates your body’s energy stops flowing properly and, like a tire that’s running and not going anywhere, stagnant heat rises and leads to cramps.

What should you do about it? If your cramps are causing you real discomfort, consider seeing a TCM doctor in your area to get to the bottom of it.

A few home-made remedies: exercise to improve the flow of your chi and keep your belly and feet warm (this may be the time to wear socks to sleep!).

What are the pros and cons of a root canal?

Over on the podcast I spoke with Dr. Toni Engram, a biological dentist in Texas, and she spoke thoughtfully about the pros and cons. Basically, Dr. Engram takes each person’s bio individual health and needs into consideration when the root canal conversation pops up, and she always makes sure to give her patients all the information.

What do you think? Have you had a root canal and did it have an effect on you?

Comment MOLD and I’ll send you a link for these herbs! If you’ve been taken down with symptoms from mold exposure, it’s important to cleanse the liver. A few of my fave herbs for this are:

Schisandra Supreme
Chanca Piedra (Body Guard Supreme)
Glutathione

As you’re recovering, it’s so important to make sure you’re pooping properly, so for healthy digestion I love Mimosa Putica.

And then for straight up clearing out mold from your system, I love Chinese Scullcap (Scutellaria Supreme).

There’s hope so please don’t get discouraged if you’re struggling. Comment MOLD and I’ll send you a link for these herbs!

🐛 Do you have parasites you’re not aware of?

Ever feel like your digestion never truly settles? One day you’re constipated, the next it’s loose stools, bloating, or even sudden anxiety with no clear trigger.

Most people don’t realize parasites can quietly live in the gut for years, releasing toxins that slow digestion, weaken the gut lining, and create a cycle of inflammation and unpredictable symptoms.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine, this shows up as hidden damp heat or the body’s way of trying to “burn off” what it can’t eliminate. That stuck energy can express itself both physically and emotionally.

If you’ve been chasing bloating, fatigue, or food sensitivities with no clear answers, it may be time to look deeper. Sometimes it’s not what you’re eating… it’s what’s eating with you.

When you’re ready to start cleansing gently, support your body’s natural detox and elimination pathways. 💧

Awareness is the first step toward healing. 🌿 When the gut clears, your energy, mood, and clarity all rise together.

Still dealing with irritation after a UTI or kidney stone?

These two acupressure points come in handy, especially if symptoms keep coming back.

👉 Bladder 39 and Kidney 10
These are key points located near the inner knee and the back of the thigh.

Massage both 2–3 times a day—press right into the heads of the bones. This helps relax the inner leg muscles, opens blood flow, and supports energy movement into the kidneys and bladder.

You can also support this process with herbs like:
🔹 Cranberry
🔹 Uva Ursi (link in my bio under “Supreme Nutrition Products”)

I like to talk about how our brains have particular programming that’s often set from childhood, and how it affects us not only psychologically but physically.

What Dr. Fab Mancini is saying here is so key: We need to be aware of how our thoughts are both wired to be negative AND stuck in a pattern.

The first step to breaking that pattern is recognizing it. Want some more tips on breaking the pattern? This is the podcast for you!

If I could only bring one tool to a desert island… this might be it.⁣

This is a gua sha tool. It’s used in Chinese medicine to help open up the fascia and stimulate acupuncture points.⁣

Why does that matter?⁣ Because tight fascia blocks your qi 💨, blood 🩸, and even electrical flow ⚡ through the body.⁣

But when you gently release it with gua sha, everything starts moving again.⁣

Sometimes people use this instead of acupuncture needles. It’s that powerful.⁣

You’re doing everything right for your thyroid… but still exhausted? This tiny mineral might be the reason ⬇️⁣

Your thyroid makes mostly T4 — but T4 isn’t as active.

Your body has to convert T4 into T3 — the hormone that actually gives you energy.⁣

And that conversion? Requires selenium.⁣

Low selenium = less T3 production = low energy.⁣

Most of that conversion happens in your small intestine and liver — so if those systems are inflamed or sluggish, you’ll feel it.⁣

Brazil nuts are one natural source of selenium. Some people use a clean supplement. Either way, it’s worth checking if you’re tired all the time — even when you’re on thyroid meds.⁣

This mineral might be the missing piece in your energy puzzle.⁣

Save this if you’re on a thyroid journey — or tag someone who’s still searching for answers 🧩⁣
