Their youngest daughter is in a fight for her life before her terminal illness takes over her body and she starts to lose her abilities. As a mother my heart goes out to Morgan and her family. They are on a deadline of Dec. 1st to raise 3 MILLION to get the treatments for their daughter and other children with Sandfillipo type B to help their children before the brain damage begins.

Guys, we are seeing it. The economy shifts. The overtime being cut by big companies. The fear of financial uncertainty. Grooms taking lesser paying jobs in order to stay home with their families. I GET IT. The price of homes is wild. The average income not matching the market. Groceries still too high for comfort. We shop at the same stores. Sams on Tuesdays and Macs on Thursdays.

Now let’s talk about the wedding.

Cutting costs.

Courthouse weddings may get the job done, but they are not what girls hope for. They want the aisle. The dress. The moment. The family and close friends.

We said we would no longer be doing Modern Elopements in 2026. I have reconsidered.

If you can keep your guest count to 50 people or less, have SIMPLE plans, and just want a beautiful backdrop for your day… message us.

We have some early 2026 dates available and can put you in touch with vendors who may be interested in working a Friday or a Sunday for slightly less than their average prices because it’s a less popular event day of the week.

🚫Modern Elopements are for one day and one day only, no rehearsal, no full decor days. Think small. YOU WILL HAVE A COORDINATOR.
⭕️Just a plan on paper and a walkthrough earlier in the morning. (A 12 person bridal party is not an elopement, if so, you have lost the plot girl 🙃)
⭕️Modern Elopements include in house decor, no flowers, so get a florist, you may have money freed up now for extra arrangements, or build your own bouquet and simple certerpieces, you only need 5.💐
🚫Modern Elopements do not need formal, full scale catering.
⭕️Shower food is fine, ESPECIALLY for mid day vows. We are here to help you cut costs, not just shift them. Think taco bars, pasta bars, BLT sliders!
⭕️Cake. GET THE CAKE.🍰
⭕️Dj, I will always suggest a dj or an MC, it just goes smoother and makes for a more professional and productive event, but you may not need anything more than the smallest package.
⭕️Get a photographer. A good one. Your day may not include 250 friends and family, but it deserves to be documented correctly. We have suggestions!!
