This morning marked the beginning of our year-long commitment walks—and what a powerful way to begin. I left the forest full, grounded, and overflowing with gratitude. 🌿✨

This morning was our last monthly Forest Walk of the year, and the fog showed up in the most beautiful, gentle way — almost like the forest offering its own blessing.

I’m continually moved by the women who come each month to tend to their bodies and their healing. Holding space for them is one of the greatest honors of my work.

And afterward, I came home and grounded with my dog… such a simple moment, but it reminded me how being witnessed — by people, by animals, by the land — can be its own kind of healing.

Grateful for this community and this practice. 🌿💛

This morning’s forest walk was all about holding and being held.
I took a handful of photos — a few shaped like hearts — but what moved me most was the way this group of women, who’ve journeyed together for over ten years, softened into the land and into each other.

There’s a depth that shows up when long-standing community meets the quiet of the forest… something tender, steady, and unmistakably sacred.

Camp Allen worked its magic again. 🌿✨

There’s something really tender about this one…

Mbodimbodited a scent that truly feels like the forest floor after the rain — that damp-earth, mossy, grounding aroma that settles your whole body before you even realize you’re breathing deeper. Getting to partner with them and bring this into the Recovery Untamed world has been a sweet part of this season.

To honor the intention behind these candles, I added a few touches of my own:

✨ a gentle ritual printed on top of the box
✨ a small Sit Spot Scroll tucked into each box
✨ all with the invitation to return to the forest… especially on the days you can’t get outside but still want to bring the outdoors in

This is a simple offering of presence — something you can light when you need to slow down, soften, or feel held for a moment.

These past few weeks have been a tender reminder of what it means to live in reciprocity with the land and one another. To guide, to sit in circle, to witness transformation — and to be changed by it in return.

Each time I turn onto the road leading into The Untamed Gathering Place, I’m reminded that healing is not something we give — it’s something we receive together. The forest holds me so I can hold others. That is the heart of Recovery Untamed.

The cycle continues — one breath, one step, one gathering at a time. 🌿

This morning’s walk centered around prayer and meditation — but what stood out most was the power of women showing up.

When we gather in circle, we practice what it means to witness and be witnessed. To hold space without fixing. To listen without rushing to fill the silence. There’s a quiet strength in that kind of presence.

Each woman brings something sacred — her story, her courage, her truth — and together we create a space where healing and belonging take root.

Grateful for the women who continue to walk this untamed path. 🌿
