For the fifth year FGC is giving away 100 - $50 Gift Certificates for food for Thanksgiving. We are asking 10 school counselors to each pick the 10 recipients. This year in particular with the government shut down and SNAP issues, it is even more vital.

The Food Pantry's days and hours of operation will change November 1. We are very excited to now be open the 2nd Saturday of every month! We know there are citizens of Grimes County that work during the week but still need help providing nutritious food for their families. Being open Saturday will provide them the opportunity to utilize our Food Pantry. The new hours for the Food Pantry will be 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. each day we are open. In addition, our Clothes Closet is open the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays every month from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.
