🌟 Career Growth Spotlight: Morgan Brookes 🌟

At Morningstar Living, we love celebrating our team members and the incredible journeys they take as they grow in their careers. Morgan’s story is a wonderful example of dedication, compassion, and a true calling to care for others.

Morgan joined Morningstar Living in November 2024 as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) while finishing nursing school. Through hands-on experience, support from her team, and her passion for making a difference, she advanced to an RN Supervisor after graduating in May 2025.

Morgan shared that “My desire to care for people and make a difference in others’ lives is what drove me to continue my nursing career.” She says one of the things she loves most about Morningstar Living is the teamwork and the shared respect everyone has for residents—no matter the role.

Looking ahead, Morgan hopes to continue growing in leadership, with future goals of becoming an ADON or DON. Her advice for others advancing in nursing is both wise and heartfelt:

“Never stop learning—about your career, yourself, and the people you care for.
Nursing is demanding, so remember to care for yourself, too.”

Morgan, we are so grateful for your dedication, compassion, and the positivity you bring to our community every day.

Mary has been with Morningstar Living for two years and has quickly become a vital part of our community. As our Transportation Coordinator, she turns every ride into an experience filled with connection, comfort, and care. The meaningful conversations she shares with residents are, in her words, “the most fulfilling part of my job,” and they make each day special for her — and for them.

Thank you, Mary, for all the ways you go the extra mile to make our residents feel valued and cared for!

Michelle joined the team in October 2024 as our Wellness Coordinator and has quickly made a positive impact through her warm personality, enthusiasm, and dedication to supporting others. She describes herself as a positive and outgoing person who enjoys connecting with people and making a difference — and it shows in everything she does.

Michelle is passionate about personal growth and learning, always looking for new ways to use her strengths to create a positive and encouraging environment. She loves building relationships and friendships.

Outside of work, Michelle has been married for 34 years and is a proud mom of two sons. Her family also includes two cats and one dog who keep life full of fun and energy. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active through fitness, hiking, and mud runs, and never turns down a chance for karaoke and laughter.
