Ambassador Health is a family-owned health system that operates skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers in Lincoln, Omaha, Nebraska City, and Sidney, Iowa, as well as a full-service home health agency in southeast Nebraska and Southwest Iowa. It is a personal attention and warmth and active devotion to a patient’s - a person’s - wellbeing. At Ambassador Health, we are proud to say that medical expertise and caring about our patients is what we do best. Ambassador Health provides a unique continuum of care. After a surgery or illness, adults receive in-patient transitional rehabilitation from our highly qualified therapy and nursing teams. This in-patient recovery process allows individuals to regain their strength and independence, enabling a safe transition home. These short-term transitional care units are available in all four Ambassador Health locations. In addition, active seniors looking for independent or assisting living options, adults in need of pulmonary and ventilator services, and parents of small children looking for advanced pediatric specialty care will find their unique health care needs met within the walls of Ambassador Health. As our Christmas celebrations come to a close, we want to pause and say a quick thank you! Two Nebraska City community businesses, and our community, went above and beyond with Christmas gifts for our residents. It meant a lot to our residents and added something special to their holiday! Just when we thought Bernard the Elf had settled down… the shenanigans continued at Ambassador Health of Nebraska City. 🎄 He struck again this last week, proving once and for all that he cannot be trusted. Our residents woke up to his latest antics and had plenty to say-lots of laughs, and a few surprised looks!

On December 9th, Ambassador Health hosted our annual Summit, bringing leaders from across all of our campuses together in one room. The day was focused on learning, sharing ideas, and strengthening connections.

We closed the day by honoring our Core Value Award recipients—team members recognized by their own teammates for the impact they make every day. It was a powerful reminder that our culture is built by the people who show up, support one another, and live our values.
