Meet Christine Chin. Her father left rural China for Boston to build a better life. Christine grew up as the big sister to six younger siblings and was the first in her family to go to college. After years of caring for her husband, a Vietnam veteran, she chose North Hill for its kind community and sunny space for her plants. Today, she helps lead TAG Immigration, offering support to new immigrants and honoring her family’s journey. 🙌

Our Story

In 1984, North Hill began a tradition of innovative leadership in Massachusetts, providing exceptional living options, programs and services to people age 65 and better. Building on more than 25 years of success, we embarked on a major renovation in 2011, which was completed in 2015. The result is a campus with new and newly designed modern, luxury apartments, welcoming, beautiful public spaces and a program of PurposeFULL Living events and activities to ensure that active, vibrant, lifelong learners can retire to the lifestyle they’ve earned.

With a state-of-the-art fitness center and 7,000 sq. ft. swimming pool, residents at North Hill stay active and healthy as they age. Four dining venues offer cuisine from the comfort foods of our childhoods to up-to-minute gourmet, international cuisine, all prepared by master culinary artists with food that is fresh and local.
