Black history in breathwork matters because nervous system regulation has always been a form of resilience.

And honoring these roots isn’t optional, it’s essential.

This month and every month, we remember where these practices come from.

And we practice with respect, context, and gratitude.

Swipe through to learn.

If counting sheep worked, you wouldn’t be here.

Better sleep starts with a calmer nervous system.

Your body needs a real off-switch, not hacks. We coach you to downshift with breath, rhythm, and simple recovery moments so your brain gets the memo it’s safe to rest. Sleep quality - the stages you move through - is what decides whether you wake up rested or wrecked.

Schedule a free consult in our link in bio to start fixing your sleep for good.

His sleep didn’t just get better.

It got deeper.

And it finally stayed that way.

Joe talks about sleep like something that used to feel out of reach.

Restless nights.

Waking up wired.

Never fully recovered, no matter how many hours he spent in bed.

Now he falls asleep faster.

He stays asleep longer.

And he wakes up feeling rested instead of braced.

For Joe, better sleep wasn’t about doing more.

It was about teaching his body that it was safe enough to rest.

Her first session wasn’t overwhelming.

It was grounding.

And immediately useful.

Carrie didn’t leave with abstract concepts.

She left with practices she could actually use in her daily life.

Simple tools to downshift when stress showed up.

Breathing strategies she could apply at work, at home, in real moments.

Not just during sessions.

For the first time, she also understood how her lungs actually work.

How breath mechanics affect her nervous system.

Why certain breathing patterns made her more anxious.

And how small changes created calm.

That knowledge alone was regulating.

Because when your body makes sense, it stops feeling unpredictable.

Her first session gave her something powerful.

Not just relief.

But understanding.

And tools she could carry with her long after she walked out the door.

Did you get your 4 hugs today?

National Hugging Day is a holiday created to encourage hugs and physical connection - consensually -between people. It started in 1986 in Michigan and now spreads around the world.

A hug of 20 seconds can trigger feel-good biochemical responses in your body. Many people believe 4 hugs/day for survival, 8 for maintenance, 12 for growth (therapist guideline)

✔ Hug your partner
✔ Hug a friend
✔ Share a consensual hug with someone who needs it
✔ If someone isn’t comfortable, send a virtual hug! 🤗

(Always ask first — not everyone likes touch)

Today is a reminder: Connection heals. 🫂
Just like cold exposure and breathwork help regulate your nervous system — hugs help regulate your heart and mind.

Tag someone who deserves a hug today 💛

If talk therapy has helped, but you still feel stuck…

Or you want faster progress by working with body-based techniques, not just the mind.

On Sunday, February 8, we’re hosting Tools Beyond Therapy, a two-hour in-person workshop exploring how EMDR, breathwork, and cold exposure support nervous system regulation, resilience, and real-world change.

This isn’t therapy and it isn’t about pushing yourself. It’s education and guided practice for people who want more capacity, more choice, and more momentum in their mental health work.

You’ll learn:

• How EMDR supports nervous system regulation and adaptive response

• Breathwork techniques you can use immediately to quiet anxiety and improve focus

• How intentional cold exposure can build confidence, resilience, and energy

📍 Needham, MA
🗓 Sunday, Feb 8 | 9:30–11:30 AM
🎟 $50 | Limited to 25 people
FIRST 10 tickets 20% off!

Comment EMDR and we’ll send you the event link.

Patience wasn’t something Joe forced.

It was something his body learned.

And that changed everything.

Since starting here, Joe notices the difference daily.

More patience with people.

More space to pause.

Less urgency in his body.

The biggest shift is that he knows what to do when tension rises.

He uses his breathing techniques throughout the day.

Before meetings.

During stressful moments.

Anytime his nervous system starts to ramp up.

That’s the power of this work.

You’re not calm only in a session.

You’re regulated because you have tools you can access anywhere.

For Joe, patience isn’t a personality trait anymore.

It’s a practiced skill.
