Because of the expected severe snowstorm and Governor Healey's State of Emergency declaration, Needham Pediatrics will be closed tomorrow, Monday, February 23. We hope and expect to return to our normal in-office schedule on Tuesday, February 24.

If you / your child has an urgent medical concern that cannot wait until Tuesday, you can reach us by telephone 24 hours a day at 781-444-7186. After hours, and while we are closed tomorrow, calls will be taken by the Nurse Practitioner On-Call service with whom we contract.

If you had a prescheduled appointment booked for Monday, you should have already received a call from our office to reschedule. If we didn't reach you, please do not come to the office on Monday. We will contact you on Tuesday, 2/24 in follow-up.

Snow Day Update:

Needham Pediatrics will open at 1:30 PM today, but because of limited staffing, we will be open for urgent sick visits only. You can call at 1:30 PM or after if you need an appointment.

Most patients with pre-booked appointments for today will be asked to reschedule. (We will contact you.) We apologize for the inconvenience.

We're here to help, but please only call for advice or request an appointment if you truly need urgent assistance today. We expect to be back to full staffing and normal operations tomorrow.

Because of the predicted serious winter storm, Needham Pediatrics will be closed for the morning of Monday, January 26, 2026. The office will be closed at least until 12:30 PM. If you have a morning appointment, you should hear from us today about rescheduling.

We will make a decision in the morning about our status for the afternoon session. Early tomorrow, we will post a status update regarding the afternoon and will notify families who have appointments with us.

We're sorry for any inconvenience. You can always reach us by telephone, 24/7, for urgent issues that cannot wait till we reopen.

🌟 Welcome to Needham Pediatrics, Meredith Baker, LICSW! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome Meredith Baker, LICSW, to our Behavioral Health team at Needham Pediatrics. Meredith is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a strong background in supporting children and families. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Wheaton College and her Master’s in Social Work from Simmons College.

Meredith brings years of experience from Early Intervention and school-based settings, where she supported children with complex behavioral and social-emotional needs. At Needham Pediatrics, she provides assessments, parent coaching, and counseling for a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, behavioral challenges, and adjusting to life’s changes.

⭐️ Meredith lives in Holliston with her three children and her golden retriever. Outside of work, she enjoys walking, skiing, kayaking, beach days, and spending time with family and friends.

We’re thrilled to have Meredith join our team and support our patients and families 💙

In recognition of Veterans Day, we want to remind you that we are operating in holiday mode. This means that our phones will be on from 8am-11am, and during that time we will only be scheduling urgent/same day sick appointments. Our phone nurse will also be available from 8am to 11am today for urgent advice. After 11am our on-call service is available if you are to have any medical questions after we are closed. Please wait on non-urgent calls until tomorrow, Wednesday, November 12th at 8am when normal business hours resume.

Needham Pediatrics Patients and Families,

We now have Flu clinics on weekdays in September and October and will continue to add clinics.

💉You may schedule your child(ren)’s vaccine(s) online through the MyChart portal. If you are scheduling siblings and there are no back to appointments-it is okay to schedule for different times on the same day and bring them all in at one of the scheduled times. Please add a note with the scheduled time you will bring in all your children in the comments section when scheduling.

If your child has a well visit or med check scheduled in the coming months they will be able to receive their Flu vaccine at this visit (there is no need to schedule a separate appointment). You can also bring siblings to these scheduled well visits and med check appointments to receive a Flu vaccine. Please let the front desk know at check-in and they will add the siblings to the schedule.

😃We want to offer the vaccine to as many patients as possible. We ask that you please arrive at your scheduled appointment time.
