Hello Residents and Families,
I hope that everyone is well. As you know, we were allowing residents to have scheduled visits on the courtyard patio. Unfortunately, we are going to be suspending these visits effective immediately due to the increase of the daily Covid-19 cases in Wisconsin.
🧐 When will courtyard visits resume?..
We are closely monitoring the Covid-19 virus situation in Wisconsin. Right now, new cases of the virus are rising daily. When new cases of the virus are no longer on the rise and the number of new cases continues to decrease for a period of 14 days, we will then get ready to allow courtyard visits again. We receive daily information and guidance from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, Bureau of Assisted Living and the CDC to help make the best decisions for the residents.
🧐 Deliveries/Pick-ups
We are setting parameters for dropping off or picking up items for the residents.
🔘All items being dropped off or picked up must be done MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-4PM as these are the times the entrance is staffed to accommodate deliveries/pick-ups.
🔘Please limit deliveries to twice a week if at all possible.
🔘 Please pass this information on to anyone who may be bringing supplies to the facility.
🧐 Are the residents required to stay in their suites?
🔘 The residents are required to eat int heir suites unless they are at risk for choking or need assistance with eating.
🔘 Residents are allowed out of their suites but they must wear a mask
🔘 No more than 8 residents are allowed in any common area at a time and they must be socially distanced 6 feet apart. Staff is responsible for reminding residents to keep their mask on and stay distanced.
🔘 Residents must wash or sanitize their hands before leaving their suites. Staff will help with this by offering hand sanitizer as residents leave their suites, enter common areas, and before and after eating, using the bathroom, or smoking.
🧐Activities
Residents are encouraged to participate in activities as they always have. Activities are staggered to encourage social distancing. For example, instead of having one large bingo session, we would have two or three smaller ones depending on the interest.
🧐 Can residents go outside?
Yes, they must stay 6 feet apart from other residents or staff and they must keep their mask on if others are in the area.
🧐Can residents go to the doctor?
Yes, if the appointment is medically necessary. They must wear a mask when going out and we ask that if families transport, that masks are kept on by all parties throughout.
🧐When will the residents be able to get a haircut?
We are currently working on a plan with our hairdresser. We understand how important this is, but we need to do this safely.
