In 2021, CopperStone Assisted Living won the ‘ABC Projects of Distinction’ Gold award for being the only Assisted Living facility in the State of Wisconsin with an on-demand negative air system modeled after surgical suites. This system uses negative air pressure on demand to eliminate airborne contaminants, therefore reducing the likelihood of additional exposure. Additionally, this facility has bipolar ionization in all common spaces and has many non-porous surfaces to increase efficacy of cleaning agents. The design has many features typically only available in acute healthcare facilities like hospitals, yet in a home-like, resort-style, residential environment.

As we are approaching cold & flu season, air quality is always top of mind at CopperStone. We look forward to again offer this advanced technology in our new 75 Unit Assisted Living & Memory Care facility opening Summer 2026!
