Life has a funny way of pivoting when you least expect it.

Over the past two years of supporting educators in my office and working (and failing) to expand my services into the broader education system, I’ve had conversations that have opened my eyes to some deep systemic cracks. I always knew they were there, but I never fully understood the extent of them until I started doing this work.

Lately, it’s become clear to me that it’s time to step beyond the safety of the four walls of my office. And the timing feels right. As my business begins to slow down for the season and our family prepares for my husband to leave for a year-long deployment, I feel pulled toward something bigger.

But before taking the next step, I want to understand what’s actually true.

The time has finally come! 💌

Back in the fall, I had the honor of giving three presentations through Superior Educator Wellness Services. At the end of each one, educators completed a wellness card, naming the areas they wanted to be more intentional about this year. I promised I’d send those cards back mid-year as a reminder of the goals they set for themselves.

Today’s the day to send them out (and tomorrow… and probably the next, because there are a lot! 😊)!

It is such a joy to remind educators that their wellbeing matters, that they deserve everything they’re working toward, and that I value them.

I am SO excited to share that I recently received grant funding from the Marquette County Su***de Prevention Alliance to support a new project, Thrive Together: A Night for Educators.

This event will create an opportunity for educators of all roles to unwind, connect, and leave feeling recharged as we push through the long stretch between winter break and spring break.
