Who knew “occupational therapy” had so little to do with…occupations?
At our recent Lunch with Friends event, Robyn Hughes, OT, gently flipped the script for 40+ community members, showing that occupational therapy is really about the life you love living. From buttoning a shirt to baking your favorite recipe, driving to visiting friends, even crocheting on a quiet afternoon… it all counts.
With a little creativity (and some pretty clever tools), Robyn helps patients get back to the everyday moments that matter most at any age, any stage.
We’re grateful for the heart, innovation, and care she brings to our rehab team and to everyone who joined us to learn, laugh, and rethink what “therapy” really means.
