We are now accepting expecting parents due in June/July for our virtual doula-led prenatal support and education group!

Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and leadership of women everywhere. At Rooted Reproductive Support of SEK, we believe that reproductive health and menstrual equity are essential to dignity, opportunity, and community care.

Through mutual aid, we work to make sure people in our community have access to the menstrual products and reproductive health supplies they need.

We’ve received donated menstrual cups and feminine wipes — and they will soon be available to request through our website.

With deep gratitude to Lunette Menstrual Cup for generously donating menstrual cups to help expand access, dignity, and care in our community. 🩷

Menstrual cups are a reusable option that can last for years, and we’ll also be sharing simple education to help you learn how to use one safely and confidently.

"Pregnancy experiences and outcomes can be dramatically different for different people, especially for members of vulnerable communities like women of color, immigrants, LGBTQ people, disabled women, and those with low incomes, among others. There is a pressing need to find solutions to improving care quality and access for racially marginalized communities. Birth justice is a movement led by Black women and women of color that seeks to recognize those inequalities and to empower people in these communities in the pregnancy and birthing process. The birth justice movement works to safeguard the rights of birthing people to make decisions around their pregnancies, including seeking abortions, and to have children in safe and supportive environments."
