I've literally waited all year for this particular day... saw this April fools day prank last year on April 2nd... put it on my calendar with great anticipation. No video, but use your imagination. It's lunch time, dining room is filled to capacity. Everyone is quietly enjoying lunch. Until...I call them to attention, (some are already feeling irritated at the interruption) then I break the news...Webwood has made the decision BINGO is no longer in our BUDGET. "The owners have decided to cut costs, and bingo is just too costly to continue"
Of course, I had to say it at least 2 more times to ensure everyone on the room heard it. It was a glorious 2 minutes. Seconds before the riot ensued I gleefully shouted APRIL FOOLS. (To be fair, I shouted it 4 times, the last time was self preservation just in case my life was in danger). It was every bit as enjoyable as I'd dreamed All. Year. Long. 🤣
