So here comes the heat for the next couple of days!
If you have to be outside wear light clothing and drink plenty of fluids.
Check on the elderly or home bound and make sure they have enough to drink and are keeping cool.
Let's not forget about our furry friends outside who seemingly are wearing a winter coat in this heat. Bring them inside if you can or make sure they have a shaded area and plenty of fresh water.
Lets be careful and kind to one another.

On Monday, September 11th, 2023, there will be a Memorial Service held at the First Responders Park to honor the lives lost on September 11th, 2001.

Also a notice for residents, please park at Adams Field for this event. For your safety, please use the cross walks located near the traffic lights on the intersection of East End Avenue and Springdale Avenue. Thank you!

It's gonna be HOT, HOT, HOT !!!!
If you must be outside wear light colored clothing and keep plenty of water with you to drink.
Bring your animals in, make sure their water bowls never run dry.

The Neptune City Community Center (117 Third Ave, Neptune City) will be open as a Cooling Center starting today, Wednesday 07/26/23 through Friday 07/28/23 from 12pm - 8pm.
Please check on the elderly and special needs neighbors; as well as their pets.
