Try this 3‑minute mindfulness micro-practice with me: 1) Sit comfortably and place both feet on the floor. 2) Close your eyes or soften your gaze. 3) Breathe in for 4 counts, hold 2, out for 6 — for three rounds. 4) Notice one sensation in your body and one sound around you. Name them softly: “warmth,” “traffic.” 5) Offer yourself one kind sentence: “I’m doing my best.” Open your eyes when ready. Mindfulness like this supports trauma‑informed, holistic therapy by helping you regulate your nervous system and build small, steady skills that add up over time.
