Right as we arrived the rain stopped, the sky cleared, and the beautiful humidity of late summer San Francisco presented itself. Praise to Julia for keeping the spirit of these healers alive and preserving the integrity of this medicine. Stanley who saw the beginning and end of ACTCM (we think in his 90s) a sharp as his needles. I’m grateful to be practicing this medicine along side these folks.

Courtesy of the Firehouse #1 museum in Nevada city. Dr. Hall Mow practiced in NSJ and Nevada city over 100 years ago and cured people of diseases that Western doctors still consider incurable. How have we not in integrated with Chinese medicine more rapidly? Why do I still have so many patients that believe their disease is incurable?

Dr Geng happened to be giving a lecture today at Huguosi Hospital when I happened to be there. It was reaffirming to hear this Dr (of 32 years) and Director of Tianjin University CM Hospital talk so much about following Dr Wangs methods of channel theory and how good of results he is getting since reducing his points and following ACT methods. He also emphasized the importance of the qi dynamic in the channel, using the pulses on other channels, and using herbs with acupuncture based on classical approaches.

Here Dr Meng showed me channels of patients mostly post stroke with arm and facial paralysis/ weakness and some with Guilin Barre.
